Nike Art Gallery
The Nike Art Gallery in Osun State is one of the cultural centers established by Chief (Mrs.) Nike Davies-Okundaye, popularly known as Mama Nike. It is located along Old Ede Road in Osogbo, with another recently commissioned branch at Akoda-Ede, both serving as major hubs for art, culture, and creativity in southwestern Nigeria.
The Osogbo gallery, often referred to as the Nike Centre for Arts and Culture, showcases a wide range of Nigerian and African artworks, including paintings, sculptures, metal works, carvings, beadwork, and traditional textiles such as adire and batik, for which the region is famous.
Beyond exhibition, the center also functions as a workshop and training ground for young artists, teaching crafts like tie-dye, weaving, embroidery, and beading as part of Mama Nike’s lifelong mission to preserve and promote Yoruba cultural heritage.
